Summary/Abstract: Even among some suicidologists, the name of the Baptist minister Harry Marsh Warren may not sound very familiar. However, he and The Save-a-Life League played an important role in establishing the roots for suicide prevention services not only in the United States, but also globally. The efforts of the ‘forgotten father’ of Suicidology Warren can also be considered a plea for understanding the right to life in a different way, more practical, doing everything it takes in order to bring hope to the hopeless, and the desire to continue to live to the suicidal persons.
