Summary/Abstract: In this review we analyze the book of Stéphane Cermakian, Poétique de l’exil. Friedrich Hölderlin, Arthur Rimbaud et Nigoghos Sarafian, (Paris, Classiques Garnier, 2021), focusing on the author’s manner of constructing an argumentative discourse based on the configuration of a literature and a language specific to exile. He studies three authors belonging to different cultural spaces and ages: Friedrich Hölderlin (Germany), Arthur Rimbaud (France) and Nigoghos Sarafian (Armenia).
