Summary/Abstract: This article aims to emphasize the role of foreign languages in the process of multilingual education at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. Through this project we had the opportunity to come across the actual expectations and challenges of our students and thus to see the importance of the sustainable development of teaching foreign languages in accordance with the newest social and academic requirements. Therefore, the research findings encourage teachers to search for innovative ways of teaching foreign languages for the enhancement of foreign language skills.
