Summary/Abstract: Every, even the smallest risk in the logistics chain can have significant disruptions and affect several spheres of society and people's lives in general. The COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented crisis in the modern world, affecting the entire world almost simultaneously. And through the introduced restrictions, due to protection against the spread of the disease, it directly affected traffic and logistics (bans and restrictions on movement, retention at borders that have not existed so far, testing, obtaining additional documentation, preventive measures, etc.) and worldwide significant disturbances in distribution chains, which spread at a high speed and thus brought the functionality of logistics chains to the brink of survival or to interruptions. The work and research was aimed at testing several indicators (demographic, labor market, transport infrastructure, vehicles, traffic counting, traffic accidents, volume of transport), to obtain an indicator of whether at a micro location - Brod-Posavina County in Croatia COVID-19 had and how much impact on functionality and security in logistics chains.
