Summary/Abstract: Nadlac is a small town at the Romanian border with Hungary. The main particularity of this town is its ethnic diversity. This particular town is largely known as the metropolis of Romania’s Slovak community. Nadlac as well as the whole region have a complex historic and demographic back-ground. Its political, social or demographic evolutions were always influenced by the regular or irregular flow of historical events. By following the demographic evolution in the area, one could understand a lot about the ups and downs of this region.
