Summary/Abstract: This article talks about the activity of the Albanian Catholic Church during the years of World War II and its position in relation to the military and political administration set up by the Italian and then the German occupiers. The article aims to address the differences in the ranks of the Catholic clergy regarding the attitudes to be held, alternatives and dilemmas for their participation in the political formations that were created during the war years and the quisling administration of the time.
