Summary/Abstract: In October 2017, social media gave birth of two movements: “Me Too” and “Time’s Up”. A month later, the movements managed to surpass digital borders which led to tangible consequences in the “real” world. The taboo on the public discussion of sexual misconduct is already been broken. In this article we analyze how two British media – BBC and The Guardian – present the facts around the two movements in their commentaries. The methodology used is content analysis. The aim of this article is to see whether these media share any criticism or support towards “Me Too” or try to remain neutral, and to follow what kind of topics are discussed in relation to both movements.
