Summary/Abstract: Last year, the Romanian Academy celebrated its 155th anniversary, when it dedicated an (online) homage session to the memory of the greatest historian that the Romanian land has given over the centuries, the scientist Nicolae Iorga, from whose birth have passed 150 years on June 5, 2021. This interview, conducted with the distinguished Professor Ioan Aurel Pop, President of the Romanian Academy, highlights the immense personality of Nicolae Iorga.
