Summary/Abstract: This text is an interview with conductor Adrian Morar. Together with the maestro, the author carried out four activities much appreciated by children: the first two, at the Orthodox College “Metropolitan Nicolae Colan”, then one in partnership with the Pedagogical College “Gheorghe Lazăr” Cluj-Napoca. In all these activities, the children, their parents and the teachers had the opportunity to get to know the work of an opera conductor, but, above all, they had the privilege of discovering a valuable man, very open-hearted, simple but profound and close to the Church, a role model for the students and a representative of quality education. Maestro Adrian Morar is a conductor at the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca, and until June 2017 he also held the position of artistic director of this cultural institution. Also, during the 2006-2007 season, he held the same position at the National Opera in Bucharest, the country’s first lyrical stage.
