Always look towards the Light!

Summary/Abstract: The present article is a review of the book “Meetings with Archbishop Bartolomeu Anania. Pages from a diary (2000-2011)”, signed by Nicoleta Pălimaru and presented at the 2nd edition of the Symposium “Bartolomeu Valeriu Anania. The Voice from the city agora”, held on March 28-29, 2024, hosted by the Orthodox College “Metropolitan Nicolae Colan” Cluj-Napoca. The book is a tribute to the one who decisively contributed to its intellectual and spiritual formation. The entire volume is filled with reflections, meditations on experienced events, meaningful and sensitive details, their interpretations from a philological or spiritual perspective. There are several fundamental themes resulting from conversations with Archbishop Bartolomeu: the cross, the youth, the Christian family, the personal readings. The entire volume reveals an eye that looks in astonishment and awe to Archbishop Bartolomeu’s intellectual strength, attention to details, adaptability to new technologies, thus becoming digitally independent, inflexibility in selecting and promoting literary and spiritual values, serenity in the face of the Great Passage.
