Summary/Abstract: This text is an evocation of Archimandrite Father Nicodim Dimulescu, who died on April 16, 2022, on Lazarus Saturday. He was the abbot of the Crasna monastery in Prahova county. Father Nicodim was of that rare lineage who changed destinies, built biographies, loved beauty, loved the life in the monastery, giving back to the Church dozens and dozens of people of various professions, all with the fear of God, along with monks, abbots and six bishops of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church. But above all, he has given God and people a uniquely beautiful monastery, a magnet that, over the years, has attracted hundreds of thousands of people around its altar in the middle of the forest.
