Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of this research is whether the perception of ethical work climate has a mediating role in the effect of sociotropic and autonomous personality characteristics of healthcare professionals on whistleblowing. The sample of the research consists of 320 health workers. According to the results obtained from the analyzes, it was determined that there was no significant relationship between sociotropic and autonomous personality traits and whistleblowing. However, some meaningful relationships were obtained in terms of the subdimension of the sociotropic personality characteristic. According to these findings, it was determined that there is a significant relationship between anxiety of disapproval, which is a sub-dimension of sociotropic personality, and whistleblowing. In addition, when ethical work climate perception, which is a mediating variable, is included in the model, it was concluded that ethical work climate did not have a mediating role in the effect of sociotropic and autonomous personality traits on whistleblowing.
