Summary/Abstract: This study aims to approach the legislative intervention effects occurred through Laws no. 212/2018 for the amendment and completion of the Law on administrative litigation no. 554/2004 and other normative acts on the provisions of art. 8 para. (2) of the Law on administrative litigation no. 554/2004, with subsequent amendments and completions and on the provisions of some special laws, which mainly affect the material competence of the courts regarding the settlement of administrative contracts. Legislative inconsistencies that persist after the entry into force of Law no 212/2018, between the provisions of the Law on administrative litigation no. 554/2004, as amended and supplemented by this normative act and provisions of some special laws in the field of public administration, violates the imperative to ensure clarity and predictability of legal norms, being likely to generate confusion for both practitioners and litigants.
