Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the process of digital transformation of public administration in Romania and the European Union, in the current legislative and institutional context.The reform of public administration, in the context of the digitization of the public sector, is focused on simplifying procedures and bureaucratic burdens for individuals and legal entities, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the administrative act, and ensuring accessibility and transparency of data use by public authorities and institutions.At the same time, this study also deals with issues related to eGovernment, cybersecurity, and the security of personal data of users of platforms and information systems.
