Summary/Abstract: Purpose - Many people have been contracted and lost their lives since the first day of the Covid-19 pandemic. Healthcare employees including nurses have had experienced the heaviest workload during this process. Therefore, healthcare employees have been hugely affected physically, mentally and spiritually. The study aims at determining the effect of turnover intention on job performance during the Covid-19 pandemic and whether burnout has a moderator role in this effect. Design/methodology/approach - The study was conducted on nurses who work in public hospitals in the TR61 region (Antalya, Isparta, Burdur). 571 nurses participated in the study. “Turnover Intention Scale", "Job Performance Scale" and "Covid-19 Burnout Scale" were used in the study. The hypotheses of the study were tested using the SPSS Process Macro. Findings - According to the findings of the analysis, it was found out that the negative effect of turnover intention on job performance was moderated by Covid-19 burnout. Discussion - This result indicated that nurses have felt the negative effect of turnover intention on job performance more when the burnout emerged as a result of Covid-19 is high compared to the situation where it is medium or low.
