Summary/Abstract: The revival of the spiritual potential and art traditions of Latvia in the contemporary European community sets new requirements concerning students’ education. Students should be oriented towards national and general human values and be creative in their activities. The paper is concerned with revealing the essence of creative activity and determining parameters of the creative activity of students in Art specialities.
