Summary/Abstract: The method of constructing perspective was scientifically substantiated, explained and mathematically verified in the epoch of the Renaissance. This method was a real revolution in art, and it enabled artists to depict the world in a mirror image. In the article historical survey of perspective as a science is analyzed.
