Summary/Abstract: Geopolitics should be considered as a field of sociological and political science knowledge, as well as an integral part of the modern strategic analysis of the world economy and international relations. Geopolitics, on one hand, studies civilizations, cultures and ethnic groups, their sociological features and properties, and on the other hand, studies them as political units, i.e., as states, empires and military-political blocs.
