Summary/Abstract: This paper uses the argumentation schemes for The Situationally Disqualifying Type of Ad Hominem Argument, Poisoning the Well by Alleging Group Bias, and Poisoning the Well as Ad Hominem Argument (Walton, 2006) to model some cases of so-called „deep disagreement" (Fogelin, 1985; Lugg, 1986; Friemann, 2005, Turner and Wright, 2005; Kock, 2003, 2007a, 2007b, 2009a, 2009b) as identified in some of the classic dialogues in the Sophocles' Antigone (Krabbe, 1990).
