Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the activities of the German Cultural Association in Lithuania (further the GCA), which in 1933 became the largest German political organisation receiving financial support from Berlin. The author of the article claims that in 1939–1941 the GCA implemented Hitler’s plans regarding the German minority and played a significant role repatriating Germans from Lithuania. In fact, the GCA, under the shield of a cultural mission, spread Nazi propaganda in Lithuania.
