Summary/Abstract: Since ancient times human culture and civilizations have known the bilingualism for communication among people speaking different languages, still present nowadays on large areas (even a form of short-term bilingualism at persons changing their working place in another European state). The presence of multilingualism, a fast developing phenomenon, is to be found more frequently. The EU with its 27 states and even more languages (see the EU materials in 50 languages) implies a present lexicography. For this, new specialists, also with an IT experience, are needed. The carrying out of a seven language dictionary is proposed (Romanian and Slavonic languages in the area).
