Summary/Abstract: The processes of globalization have made a strong impact on the linguistic level, especially when it comes to the influx of anglicisms in European languages. Contact linguistics has achieved its full development, a major reference in this field were made on the plan of serbian language. Encouraging by actuality of these linguistic events, we focused on research to the phonological adaptation of konsonant’s system in current anglicisms in the Serbian language. Due to the complexity and scope of the problem, the focus of this paper remains in question of konsonant’s system of English to Serbian replicas. The analysis of the distribution of consonants in anglicisms will point out the significant phonological innovations in Serbian phonetic system.
