Summary/Abstract: This is a recollection of the memories of architect Alexandru Budişteanu, head of the National Center of Systematization in România from 1983-to 1989. During his service, he was confronted with the Nicolae Ceauşescu decisions’ on the program of rural systematization which aimed at transforming the traditional villages into small towns and the increase of agricultural areas.
