The book is dedicated to the tumultuous history of Bassarabia and consists of three chapters: 1918-1924 - the Act of Union of Bassarabia with Romania-Romanian Administration Installation – the Romanian-Soviet Conflicts; (II). 1925-1939 - The Political, economic and cultural development of Bassarabia in Roma-nia – the Soviet Claims; III. 1940-1944 - The Second World War and its impact on the fates of Bassarabia.
