Summary/Abstract: This paper considers the diverse corpus of Pasternak’s works, with a focus on his best prose accomplishments, particularly his novel Doctor Zhivago. A comprehensive insight into his life and creative accomplishments has been given, with a special focus on his themes and motifs, and the way in which they have been transcended into his literature. The analysis has shown Pasternak’s prose, his essays, articles, short stories, two autobiographical works and epistolary prose, and especially his novel Doctor Zhivago. The author has especially been focused on his novel Doctor Zhivago which comes partly as a result of an extensive synthesis of genres: poetry, epistolary fiction, essays and critical texts and the philosophical subtext. The musical and artistic talents of the writer have found their way into his texts as well.
