EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP FOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATES

Summary/Abstract: Unemployment has been one of the biggest problem of countries from past to present. By examining the development level of a country, it is possible to interpret the unemployment. Education level is the other indicator that should be taken into account in determining the level of development. When looking at the countries that care about education and have a good structure in terms of education system, it is observed that the economic difference with other countries is visibly massive. In this study, the relationship between education and employment is explained using some theories. Evaluations are made by looking at annual data. The aim of the study is to test the importance of education to increase employment rates within the scope of employment theories. For this purpose, the questionnaire applied in the province of Kayseri includes 58 questions in total. The data obtained from 430 people were analyzed with the SPSS package program. As a result of the analysis, it has been determined that there are differences between those who are university graduates and those who find a job related to their own department and those who cannot find a job in their own department, in terms of the perspective of the education system, the problems confronted and the employment relationship of education.
