Summary/Abstract: This article aims to show the importance of literacy studies that a language teacher must adopt by defining the different variables that are mobilized in the implementation of a didactic teaching approach for the benefit of non-specialist language students. Indeed, our own approach is part of this global reflection and is interested in the teaching of reading speciality academic writings in French. That brings us closer to the real context of future Algerian engineers for whom university courses in technological specialties are taught exclusively in French.
