Summary/Abstract: The article presents a few aspects related to translation of polysemous terms in ESP classes . Polysemy can play a central role in identifying the appropriate meaning in context. It can be a source of ambiguity and vagueness, leading to misinterpretation. In ESP classes, aspects such as precision and clarity might be relevant to consider whilst translating specialised English texts into Romanian.
