Summary/Abstract: We are aiming to show a more complex reflection of Andrej Belyj´s aesthetic-philosophic system. As the source we are using his theoretical works that can be considered as an interpretative key for all his work. First, we are focusing on general (Belyj’s understanding and perception of the world, the interconnection of consciousness and understanding, the phenomenon of culture etc.). Later we move to concretion (author’s definition of notions of art symbol and symbolism, word, the basic principles of art creation...) Belyj understands symbolism as the way of thinking, understanding the world, the way of existence there and tries to interconnect his view of symbolism with ideological movements of his time. Every real art is in its deepest essence a symbolic one, as it represents an organic connection of two orders – phenomena of the inner world and the living consciousness. The connection is thus the union of the inner and outer world. Its sense can be unveiled in metaphysics and mysticism, the indexes of the way to a complex re-structuring of the human being and discovering new forms of existence. Thus we have had the chance to understand that the dominants of the aesthetic and philosophic world of Belyj’s work rest on the effort to express the interconnection of the Macrocosm with the Microcosm, as such Belyj can be considered as a cosmic poet.
