Summary/Abstract: This paper includes considerations on two aspects of a broader analysis of China’s “miraculous” economic evolution, namely on (1) China’s economic status in its specific difference from that of “high-performing Asian economies,” in the proximate genre of economies that have achieved rapid and sustained rates of growth, and (2) the uniqueness of China’s economic reform and its reference achievements.
