Summary/Abstract: The text presents the interviews with experts from ten different museums in Bulgaria, which complement the variety of appearances of the museums, emphasize their desire for visibility and expand the geographical area of the research. At the same time, the interviews show much more clearly the search for models to respond to the challenges of the crisis, the wanderings and the unknowns that the museums are facing. Not all of the methods used to reach new audiences are successful, and museums do not always work adequately to the situation in which they find themselves.
