Summary/Abstract: The text presents digital activities of 12 museums in three lockdowns 2020-2021. Ways of communicating with audiences, frequency and success of interaction are discussed in detail. Successes and failures are situated in the context that produced them, so that particular practices can be borrowed, but with the environment in which they will be used in mind. Approaches to work outline cultural policies that are limited but very different, as some museums share memorial publications and others narratives with stories. Both types rely on evoking emotions, but the latter are tied to complicity in the construction of stories.
