Summary/Abstract: An entrepreneur is a person who combines the concepts of "innovation" and "creativity". Entrepreneurship is the activity of creating new value by spending significant effort and time with financial, physical and social risks. The activities of women in such activities are developing with increasing dynamics, because increasing the role of women in the economy is one of the 17 goals of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It is obvious that the role and weight of women in the business world has increased in the last 20 years. Increasing the entrepreneurial activities of women in Azerbaijan, protecting their rights and providing decent jobs, implementing educational projects in the aspects arising from the needs of the modern age and the labor market are just a few of the steps taken in this field. The protection of women's rights is directly related to their economic independence. For this reason, the development of women's entrepreneurship is of great importance and is a very current issue. The development of entrepreneurship among women affects the development of society as a whole.
