ON THE OCCASION OF THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST SESSION OF THE STATE ANTI-FASCIST COUNCIL FOR THE PEOPLE’S LIBERATION OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Summary/Abstract: Seventy years since the First Session of the Anti-fascist Council for the People’s Liberation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a sufficient time span for the analysis of its historical significance but also for the evaluation of the vast literature about it. Although, in present Bosnia and Herzegovina, opinions of the ruling political elites about the 25th November are not adjusted, this event is certainly one of the most important in our history. It is particularly significant that the decisions of the 25th November are not attributed ideological importance and that this date should be considered in the context of its importance for the constitutional history of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
