Summary/Abstract: Northeast of Bucharest there is a row of lakes and the largest forest patch remaining in the immediate vicinity of the capital city. Like an XXL urban form, 11 villages (from Tunari to Fundeni) are set onto this series of ponds which are well-known to fishermen. Forming an infrastructural landscape, these small lakes are separated by a series of crossings: for cars and for pedestrians, but also land strips that help regulate water levels and divide the breeding areas of the fish. The Territorial Bucharest project’ goal is to build a set of interventions along these narrow strips of land to speculate the physical situation of the place (the meeting point between natural and built environment) on which to propose various public and community programs and functions: Library, Pub, Pontoon for fishermen, Swimming pool, simple Pavilion pointing a walk in the territory, and so on.
