The Fifth Autograph of the Translator Samujil Bakačyč (Marc. MS Or. 297) and the Traslation of the Cycle “Miracles of the Theotokos”

Summary/Abstract: This paper explores manuscript MS Or. 297 from the collection of the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana (Venice). The manuscript is the fifth autograph of Samujil Bakačyč, which contains his translation of the cycle “Miracles of the Theotokos”, written by the Greek man of letters Agapios Landos. It is a newly studied autograph of Bakačyč with unknown from the copies composition of 157 miracles (in this autograph the translator has added 81 miracles from Joanikiy Galiatovsky’s book “Key of understading”) and it enlighten the history of Bakačyč’s translation.
