Summary/Abstract: Modern law is no longer concerned with distinguishing between crimes and quasi-crimes, but considers that both are unlawful and prejudicial acts, which give rise to the obligation to repair the damage caused. The tortious civil liability intervenes when the deed causing the damage violates an obligation established by law. The tortious civil liability provoked a diversity of opinions, the most different solutions were proposed, but a principle emerged without reservations: that of liability for the illicit act producing damages. Objectively, the law could not make a list of the illicit acts that involve civil liability. Faced with the most diverse and complex issues of liability, the jurisprudence has had to establish concretely the conditions under which a person's tortious civil liability takes place.
