Summary/Abstract: In this paper I emphasize key determinants within which we can reflect the character of transformation of European religiosity. The paper is articulated from the perspective of the thesis abuot convergent political religions. The paper is constituted from three chapters. First chapter in which I reflect nexus between secularization with general process of modernization within classical European enligtenment. Second chapter, which confronts the question of secularization with Ulrich Beck’s theory of contramodernity. Third chapter, in which I correlate European secularization with theory of convergent political religions.
