Education of Adults and Social Progress According to Helena Radlińska

Summary/Abstract: The article is a Polish translation of a text that was originally published in French in the collected edition dedicated to the life biographies and activities of eleven pioneering figures in the education of adults, who were active in the second half of the 19th and first half of the 20th centuries in Belgium, France, the United States, Switzerland, Great Britain, and Poland. The articles collected in this volume are the result of collaborative seminar work and were prepared according to a specific method of organizing source materials similar to the “biographical turn in historical research” methodology. It consists of three parts characterizing specific episodes from Helena Radlińska’s life and her socio-pedagogical vision of the world, emphasizing the topicality of her socio-pedagogical thought.
