Summary/Abstract: The situation in the news website sector calls for need of loyalty of recipients especially people who prefer daily news from particular websites. This paper is focused on the connection between familiarity, usability and loyalty of the news websites. We point at recipient familiarity with website and degree of its usability on the level of loyalty. The survey was realized among the 204 university students in Slovakia. The results of the research show there is a direct positive relationship between the degree of familiarity, usability and the level of loyalty. Familiarity and usability has a significant influence over the loyalty of recipients.
