Media Education – from Cradle to Grave

Summary/Abstract: The most of academic and media research activities are primarily focused on children’s media use. But the current media and increasing impact of digital age call for media education at the universities, primary and high schools. We focused on the need of media education at the mentioned societies. On the other hand there is also a parental mediation – form of media education in our households. It extends the parental role beyond simple restrictions to use conversational, interpretive strategies and parental monitoring activities as well. The results of our research emphasize to realize media education – from cradle to grave.
