Playful spirit and the actor

Summary/Abstract: The author analyses the human basic activity of playing games as a preamble for acting. She emphasizes the happiness of artists as through the nature of their profession, they can always access their inner child and their playful spirit. Further on, the author is identifying common denominators in children’s and actors’ games, in order to prove that the actor needs to make his / her interior world visible for the audience. The key in succeeding this is playing games and following the rules of one’s interior self.
