The focus is on hybrid compound words formed in the receptor language as a result of the increasing productivity of the English attributive pattern Noun + Noun; some compounds with a Ioan adjective as their first component and the nature of топ- (E top), хай- (E high) and е- (E e-) as new means of word-formation in Bulgarian.
