Summary/Abstract: This paper provides definitions and an overview of basic life skills that are important for the development of students' personalities as active citizens, and mechanisms and strategies to develop these life skills in teaching. This would ultimately result in the developing personality of young people, primary and secondary school students, who will have the skills and competencies to improve living conditions in the future.
