Summary/Abstract: The 22nd edition of the Alma Mater Sucevensis Scientific Session took place at “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava on March 4–5, 2022. The purpose of the event was to bring together researchers and specialists interested in exploring the long past or recent events through the prism of history, archaeology or international relations, matching the results of their analyzes or discoveries with the challenging requirements of the field of research. Participants from Romania, Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova proposed various topics that allowed the grouping of the event into sections. The papers focused on the methods and strategies of the research, the analysis and interpretation of the sources, and the capitalization of the archival documents, claiming the diversification of options in approaching regional, Romanian, and universal historiography.
