Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the interpretation of death in Atanas Lipchev’s last novel. It notes the multiplicity of the images of mortality in the text, organized in a clear fiction system, their cultural and philosophic content, the memory of their functions in the ontogenesis of the concept of death and the strategies to fight the fear of death.
