Summary/Abstract: Globalization is a phenomenon, which influences one’s language, customs and ancient values, and in time, steals their uniqueness. A consequence of this process is that the number of English speakers is rapidly growing, we adopt the French or English style of clothing, we eat from McDonald’s and KFC and surf the same Internet pages, which results in a uniformed world. All is for the best, some may say, because this means progress. Furthermore, progress means modernization and modernization leads to globalization, thus everything ends up spinning in a vicious circle. We must embrace globalization or be left out. Embracing this phenomenon means being accepted by society, not being ridiculed by others and, of course, evolving. On the other hand, if you agree to accept globalization, you must not forget your own culture and values. You have to be flexible, knowledgeable and, first of all, have the capacity to distinguish right from wrong.
