Summary/Abstract: The idea of writing being exclusively for men, the positive discrimination and the hunt of collective and individual faults from certain standards, made it that the feminine touch a complex cultural subject, both powerful and complex, multiple and unique with every portraying, be considered a tabu issue for a long period of time. Out of the changing beauty of literature written by women, let us choose a special way that requires from us a sustained effort – the feminine poetry, showing that gender is not one that matters in literature, as is the originality of the writing, the author’s imagination and his/her capacity to portray a large range of representations. After several centuries of this genre being “dropped out” at the edge of the masculine ruling, looked down upon, tolerated and hardly accepted without prejudice, during the XXth century this kind of literature got an increasing importance starting with the emergence of feminism, the evolution of both expectations and mentality changes proving, if still needed, that the “feminine” atribute is not a stigma, and that the author is actually an androgine paper – being for whom only the gift, the skills and the talent could make the difference.
