Classic travel reportage online. Arkady Fiedler and his readers on the Internet

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article is the Internet reception of the characters and achievements of the famous Polish traveler - reporter and writer Arkady Fiedler (1894–1985). The writer's work continues to attract the attention of readers. An important issue is the popularization of the writer and his books on the Internet, mainly through the website of the Arkady Fiedler Literary Workshop Museum in Puszczykowo, Wielkopolska. The article also discusses the issue of the availability of his publications in the bookstore offer, including in the form of e-books, as well as promotion methods used by booksellers on the Internet. Attention was paid to the issue of publishing A. Fiedler's books on the Legimi website. The issue of the availability of the writer's publications on the Internet, including in open access databases, was referred to. The popularity of A. Fiedler's reportages in the library and non-library reading circulation was analyzed on the basis of research conducted on the internet portal W bibliotece.pl and on Internet reading portals.
