Summary/Abstract: Tax incentives for R&D activities represent, at a global level, strategic instruments that stimulate economic growth by encouraging investments in the R&D area. However, Romania has not yet exploited them to their true potential. The crisis generated by the pandemic, the geopolitical one, the interruptions of the supply chains, as well as the inflationary pressure put on the global economies, represent many reasons for Romania to focus on the subject of tax incentives for R&D, in order to achieve the economic growth, it has need.
